Terry Krieg

A high voltage electrical engineer and experienced international consultant with more than 40 years industry and utility experience. As a senior manager at a number of Australian infrastructure utilities in Queensland, South Australia and the Northern Territory, Terry has led the introduction of new approaches to standardisation and design, asset management practices, risk based condition monitoring and maintenance. He has significant high voltage electrical plant experience in maintenance, commissioning, testing and diagnostics of power networks.
Major projects completed include failure investigations, audits of assets, systems and processes, studies for major new infrastructure projects, the implementation of new innovative standardised designs, new approaches to maintenance and on-line condition monitoring and asset management of assets. He has introduced major improvements to asset management practices within the power industry and has presented more than 45 engineering and management papers and key note addresses on aspects of strategic asset management to industry conferences in Australia and globally.



Robert Adams

An internationally recognised electrical engineer with 50 years’ experience in High Voltage Power Systems Engineering and operation. As a senior manager/engineer within infrastructure utilities in South Australia for Network and Asset policy, Robert has led the introduction of standardisation of design for generation connections and maintenance. He has significant high voltage electrical plant experience in maintenance, testing and diagnostics of power networks. A member of a number of Australian and international standards committees and taskforces, he has been a leader in power engineering standardisation.
Major projects include the formulation and implementation of new innovative Network and Asset policies involving standardised designs, nodal generator connections, and new approaches to earthing and electro-magnetic compatibility of power system assets. He has introduced major improvements to engineering standards within the power and electro-technical industry and has authored or co-authored more than 15 engineering papers, standards and technical brochures on all aspects of power engineering and electro-magnetic compatibility in Australia and globally.



Franco Crisci

With more than 40 years experience in the electricity distribution business in South Australia, he has been responsible for the delivery of a number of significant projects. He was responsible for negotiating the migration of control of the SA distribution network to the privatised distribution business and establishing and managing the distribution Control Centre. Franco’s experiences with bushfire risk management includes a project managing the conversion of thousands of kilometres of bare lines to insulated conductor and developing and implementing comprehensive bushfire risk management procedures. He has conducted and presented on international studies in bushfire risk management and has consulted to electricity utilities and is a member of international bushfire risk management organisations. He has co-authored papers in prioritising bushfire risk management projects with Australia’s CSIRO. He led the development of a model to predict the number of distribution power outages from forecast weather, the implementation of a tool for prioritising and sequencing power outage jobs and estimating how long before all customers would be restored following a major storm event.
